Unlike some employment agencies, there is never a charge to register with Fairfield Teachers' Agency. In the event you accept a position to which we have referred you, there is a fee of 7 1/2% of your first year's compensation.
Candidates are under no obligation to accept any positions which they are offered. Many agencies charge placement fees based on whether or not they accept a position. We do not. In fact, if a candidate accepts a position that we referred them to and they later change their mind (even if they sign a contract), no fee would be due. A placement fee is only due after the person begins working.
Approximately one-third of the independent schools that Fairfield Teachers' Agency services will assist in paying the placement fee for the candidate.
In many cases, placement fees are tax deductible.
